AIBA Interim President Dr. Mohamed Moustahsane and Executive Committee members are invited to take part in All-Russian Boxing Forum in Kaliningrad on January 31 – February 1.
New format of boxing forums was originated by AIBA EC member, Russian Boxing Federation Secretary General Umar Kremlev. So, first edition of Global Boxing Forum launched in 2018 and became an annual event to unite professional and Olympic boxing stakeholders. In 2019, he also launched All-Russian Forums for all the 85 regions inside the country, and this time for its second edition he invited not only regional representatives but also AIBA EC members.
Kremlev, who is also chair of AIBA Marketing Commission, implements the strategy of good marketing not only globally, but also in his own country. Last couple of years Russian regions showed big progress in conducting events and using all marketing tools.
Boxing show becomes a culmination of the Forum in Kaliningrad. Match Russia-Poland will be accompanied with pro fights. Sergey Vorobiev of Russia meets with Karen Chukhadzhyan of Ukraine for WBA International title, and Samuel Carmona of Spain fights against Jose Antonio Jimenez of Colombia for vacant WBA International title.
