AIBA President expressed condolences on passing away of Mr. Terry Smith

AIBA President Mr. Umar Kremlev expressed condolences on passing away of Mr. Terry Smith.

‘On behalf of myself and the entire boxing family, I would like to express my most heartfelt condolences and my deepest sympathy for the mourning of Mr. Terry Smith,’ Mr.Kremlev said.

‘He will always be remembered for his great passion and dedication to the improvement and development of boxing. Mr. Terry Smith achieved many successes in the course of a long and active career, including his periods as AIBA Compliance Unit Chair, AIBA Executive Committee Member, AIBA Technical Delegate, AIBA 3-star R&J, AIBA R&J Instructor and Honorary Chairman of AIBA R&J Commission and many other roles within AIBA, EUBC and his National Federation. His expertise and knowledge highly contributed to the benefit of AIBA and our beloved sport, and I am sure that the extensive legacy that he left will be cherished by AIBA members,’ he added.

AIBA sends sincere condolences to all the family members of Mr. Terry Smith.
