From today on, AIBA President Mr. Umar Kremlev is concentrated at work in AIBA only. He has just left his position of Secretary General of the Russian Boxing Federation (RBF). The new Secretary General of the RBF, Mr. Kirill Shchekutyev, was appointed by RBF Executive Committee for four years on Friday.
Mr. Kremlev was a Secretary General of the RBF since 2017. Under his leadership, RBF became the best EUBC National Federation for two years in a row.
‘I had four fruitful years in the Russian Boxing Federation as a Secretary General. We’ve done a lot of outstanding and purposeful work. The technologies of the boxing development, which have shown their effectiveness, will be used for the reforms in global boxing. We also have a lot of fresh ideas, and I am sure that together with National Federations not only will we reinstate AIBA but make it the best International Federation in the world,’ AIBA President said.
