The Foundation of Better Boxing (FBB) Board on its meeting on Tuesday decided to review its organization and unanimously appointed AIBA President Mr. Umar Kremlev as a Board member and President of FBB.
The former leader of the Foundation, the President of the Boxing Federation of India Mr. Ajay Singh, considered that it was better for the FBB to work effectively if he delegated powers to Mr. Kremlev and remained a member of the Board of the organization.
‘The Foundation will help the development of boxing worldwide, including the National Federations who have difficulties with finances. We should revive this Foundation to have it as our tool for boxing development,’ Mr. Kremlev said.
The positions and functions of the other Board members, Roberto Garea Loureiro, Franco Falcinelli, Sidi Mohamed Moustahsane and Andrew Ryan, have not been amended.
