Today in International Day of Sport for Development and Peace the Champions for Peace digitally launch the 2021 #WhiteCard campaign. The essence of the campaign is to demonstrate a white card, which is a counterweight to the red ones.
International Boxing Association (AIBA) supports the initiative and calls upon to join it.
Under the motto ‘Behind each #WhiteCard, there is a story’, the organizers invite the peace-though-sport movement to join the campaign by sharing #WhiteCard pictures and testimonies on the platform www.april6.org and on social media.
‘Today I join the international campaign ‘White card’. The white card symbolizes the honesty and transparency of the judging. To achieve our goals, we need a participation of all athletes from all over the world! Let’s show together that sport is not only a competitive event, but also respect for yourself and your opponent!’ AIBA President Umar Kremlev claimed.
