AIBA President held forums with participants from five continents with a purpose to discuss more closely with National Federations all recommendations and Constitutional amendments which will be proposed on 12 December 2021 for approval of the Congress.
More than 130 countries were registered to participate in forums from Asia, Africa, America, Europe and Oceania.
‘We are waiting for an important event for our organization – the Congress. National Federations will vote to adopt constitutional amendments that will give a new impetus to the development of AIBA, will allow us to become more transparent and provide efficient work for the benefit of our sport. AIBA delivers continued reforms in all areas and independent experts led by Professor Ulrich Haas will allow achieving a level of governance that is best practice for international federations,’ AIBA President claimed.
In addition, the basics of the future scoring system were presented by Chair of the AIBA R&J Committee Chris Roberts.
AIBA Congress will take place on the 12th of December in a virtual way.
