Mrs. Zsuzsanna Tóth was elected to Vice-Chair of the AIBA Competitions Committee. She has been a Director of International Relations of Hungarian Boxing Association Position from 2014 to 2020 and a Secretary General of Hungarian Boxing Association since 2020.
The Chairpersons and Vice-Chairpersons of the seven established AIBA Committees were appointed by the AIBA Board of Directors this week. Every National Federation could send their candidates to be a part of the Committee based on the criteria mentioned in the Regulations.
The goal of the Competitions Committee is to oversee the organization of AIBA events and to ensure that they meet all international requirements and standards, also it shall develop the AIBA Technical & Competition Rules applicable to boxing, propose new rules or amendments to existing rules, implement the AIBA Scoring System, review the sporting aspects of all AIBA Competitions and propose all measures deemed necessary or relevant on this matter, help implementing the R&J and Coaching management systems etc.
Mr. Michael Müller was appointed as the Chair, he has been a Secretary General of the German Boxing Association since 2010. Since 2010, Mr. Müller in his function as the Sports Director of the German Boxing Association is responsible for supervising all the high-performance sport processes. He was CEO of the Local Organization Committee of the 2017 AIBA Men’s World Championships in Hamburg, Germany.

I am sure that our elected Chairpersons will show their best in their area of expertise and together we will go forward to improve the situation and to raise AIBA at the new level’, AIBA President Mr. Kremlev said.
